Royal Bussan Services Robotics (Disinfect Safely) has rolled out a patent pending multi tasking disinfection robot that could help disinfect public spaces, offices, rooms and other high touch point areas. The robot can be configured to perform multiple tasks from cleaning to disinfection.

The nifty solution was unveiled amid the current COVID-19 crisis. Royal Bussan Services UV-C Disinfection Robot can kill up to 99.99% of pathogens with UV-C light. The same Robot can be transformed to disinfect the surroundings air by adding a module that encase and shield off the UV-C ray, making it human safe. This patent pending multi-tasker robot is the first in the world to offer both surface and air disinfection functions. The robot through the use of a HEPA filter and UV-C light chamber is able to disinfect the surroundings air hence reducing the possibility of airborne transmission.

UV-C AIR PURIFICATION

Air purification addon module

By using an air purification addon to the UV-C disinfection robot, it allows the UV-C disinfection robot to be deployed both day and night. This addon module utilize the pathogens killing properties of the UV-C lamps found in the UV-C disinfection robot to disinfect the surrounding air.

Surrounding air are sucked into the module through a HEPA filter and forced through a chamber of UV-C lamps acting as air duct before exiting out. As the air pass through the array of UV-C lamps, the pathogens carried in the air will be killed by the UV-C radiation from the UV-C lamps. The purified air is then pushed out through an outlet.

The entire purification process are contained within the interior of the apparatus. No UV-C rays are exposed to the users or human. Hence allows the UV-C disinfection robot can be utilized both day and night without limitation to human traffic consideration.

SPECIFICATION

Royal Bussan Services’s UV-C Disinfection Robot is an autonomous disinfection robot for offices, banking halls, building lobbies, hospitals, production lines, schools and other high touch points premises. The robot is designed as a complement to the existing cleaning cycle with the aim of reducing the spread of infectious diseases, viruses, bacteria, and other types or harmful organic microorganisms.

The robot can drive autonomously while emitting concentrated UV-C light onto pre-defined infectious high touch points hotspot environments, thus disinfecting and killing bacteria and virus on all exposed surfaces.

The robot has been certified by international accredited testing laboratory, TUV Rhineland. The test results showed that an exposure time of ten minutes can kill up to 99.9% of common bacteria found on surfaces.

Safety features are paramount in our robots. Besides the standard emergency stop button, our robots have another layer of safe distancing feature. When humans are detected within a 5m range, the UV lights will be auto cut off. This is made possible with the infra-red sensors built-in. The camera feature also allows the operator to remote view the surrounding when obstacles or humans are detected. Corrective actions can then be taken.
